Southeastern Safety ConferenceOrganized in 1940, the Southeastern Safety Council has continuously worked to reduce economic losses and eliminate human injury in the workplace. The Council realizes that North Carolina’s most important resource is its people.

The chief objective of the Southeastern Safety Council is to promote industrial, public, and home safety through the Council’s activities and programs. The Council is operated as an independent, non-profit, non-political organization.

Please join us on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 for our Safety Talk Contest. Bring members of your Safety Committee, Managers, Supervisors and your front line employees to participate in and enjoy this contest.

  

The winner of our regional contest will represent Southeastern Safety Council at the Statewide level at the NC Safety Conference May 18, 2011 in Greensboro , NC .

Regional Safety Talk Contest

 

DATE/TIME: TUESDAY, April 12, 2011 11:00-1:00 Lunch included.

Eastover Recreation Center

CONTESTANT ENTRY FEE: $15.00 (You must be a SESC member to participate)

All non-contestants are welcome to attend, if non-contestants ("support personnel, cheerleaders, etc") desire the Council to provide lunch there will be a $6.00 charge per person.

 

Payable to Southeastern Safety Council (check or cash only please)

Contestants should arrive before 11:00 AM on 12 April 2011 ready to present. There will be a projector and laptop available for contestant use. Contestants are allowed to bring their own laptops and presentation materials as long as it complies with the rules of the contest. Please see the attached brochure for the rules of the contest. There is no printing, faxing or production equipment available at the recreation center.

 

Lunch will be Quizno's sub-sandwiches.
